Reviewing Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012 has been of all things, a lot of fun. Yes, I’ve actually had my bum kicked by some of the workouts. I admit it, it’s true. But I’ve also loved just doing a bunch of semi-random things on a whim based on my moods and goals for the day. On days when I’d like something vigorous, I stick with the Jumping Rope, Sports Preparation and Boot Camp options. On days in which I’ve already run a few miles and would just like to have more active fun, I choose from a wide variety of great choices. The only thing I wasn’t bonkers about is the Cardio Boxing. It’s very “TaeBo-ish” and it’s semi-lame. I’m probably super stuck-up on the subject because I actually competed as a full-contact kickboxer for a decade, but to me, it’s definitely the least-great aspect of this game. Kind of like the cheesy aerobics ladies bouncing in the gym. I suppose the average Joe would probably be happy with it though.
On the whole, where else can you dribble virtual soccer balls, take part in a Latin Dance class, a Hip Hop class and then do some yoga? I love wearing nothing but undies, a sports bra and sneakers in my living room while wiggling my hips to several Bollywood routines. YSFE2012 allows me to just cut loose in private and do whatever the heck I want. My favorite things are normally the super hard stuff, but I can also assure you that the dance classes and balance challenges are super entertaining and enhance my fitness level in different ways too! Absolutely every training routine involved in YSFE has a very beginner level and a very advanced level, so it’s all very enjoyable and legitimately easy to follow.
Check in to my past two entries in this five part diary series and don’t forget to check back on Fridays weekly. We’ll soon be giving away this Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012!

yes, I love how you have the comfort and privacy of home while being able to customize it to your activity level. The Cardio Boxing would probably still be difficult for me. 😛

Can we see a video? Just to see how it works, of course!
Hahahaha Bill! Noooo. No videos for anyone. I’m only so bold on my lonesome.
