Shape and Men’s Fitness have partnered with Wilhelmina Models to discover the next hot body and it could be you! Wilhelmina Models represents a wide range of talent including top fashion models and celebrities, professional athletes, fitness models, Olympians, personal trainers, yoga instructors, and fitness enthusiasts. Men and women can enter the model search in person at one of several nationwide open call events, online by visiting wilhelminamodelsearch.com or by submitting an entry in the mail. They are looking for men and women ages 18 and over.

The first open casting call is just around the corner in New York City on Saturday, September 26, 2009. To find a casting call near you click here.

  • Ideal contestants will have the potential to be fitness icons.
  • A panel of judges consisting of Wilhelmina talent scouts and Shape/Men’s Fitness editors will review all entries.
  • Ten finalists (5 women/5 men) will be posted on Mens Fitness.com and Shape.com, where readers can vote for the “Reader’s Choice”.
  • The ten finalists will be invited to a finale event in New York where the two winners will be selected live by the panel of judges.
  • The female winner will receive a Wilhelmina contract and be featured editorially in Shape and the male winner will receive a Wilhelmina contract and be featured editorially in Men’s Fitness.

*****Just so you know and are not shocked … there is a $20 processing fee. I’m not really sure why, nor am I thrilled with it. But if you’re really eager to throw your hat in the ring, these three companies are very reputable and the winners sure will end up with a tremendous kick start!
