T-fal’s ActiFry is genius. Now, even though I’m the author of a cookbook, I’m not usually the type to do cartwheels over cooking tools. No, I’m pretty satisfied with your basic nonstick pan. But this week I’ve been cooking with my new ActiFry, and I’m feeling like doing some flips. The T-fal ActiFry offers a new and easy way of cooking tasty dishes while using less or no oil. You can make a broad range of dishes using vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood, grains and fruits – all with little to no oil. The machine uses a unique patented technology combining pulsed hot air and a stirring paddle to cook food evenly without burning or sticking.
So far I’ve made chicken, french fries, teriyaki vegetables and a few other things. Each have tasted just like they would in a restaurant with a crispy texture and yummy taste. My favorite part? Wait for it ….. it was effortless! I literally tossed the food in the machine, set the timer and did other things. When the timer went off, the food was done and I only had to serve it. Sounds goofy, but cooking usually straps me to the kitchen because of stirring and/or temperature management. With my new ActiFry, I wasn’t obligated to do any of that. It’s really fantastic and yes, I am gushing.
The machine also comes with a ton of recipes to get you started including entire meals, meats, veggies, potatoes, desserts and more. Easy! The ActiFry retails for $249. I believe it may save you that much in time and energy in the first month alone. Give it a greater look at TFal.com.
