Fitzness.com wants YOU! We want you to write and submit your very own Surprising Ways to Slash 500 Calories article and land yourself a spot as a featured writer for Fitzness.com. Our Surprising Ways to Slash 500 Calories series has been the most popular series in our history and we’d love for you to take part. The winning submission will win a spot on our front page carousel for a week, and also win a fruitfully fun-filled $50 gift card from our fabulous fitness partner Jamba Juice!
The rules: All you have to do is read one of our Surprising Ways to Slash 500 Calories articles and duplicate the format with an idea of your own. It should only be about 1-3 paragraphs, and should be very unique. Running on a treadmill for 30 minutes and burning 500 calories is not surprising!
Send your submissions along with your name, email address and telephone number to slash500calories@yahoo.com by Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 at 8PM EST. The winner will be publicly announced soon-after. If more than one feature is worthy of publishing, we may publish more. However, only one official winner will be chosen and awarded the coveted Jamba Juice gift card.

Please ensure your idea is original, not stolen and beneficial to our readers. Remember, our mission here is to provide folks with news they can use each day to become more fit, more healthy. Do your best on grammar too. Submission made in ALL CAPS or written incoherently will not be considered.
Contest Rules
One winner will be chosen to have one article feature on Fitzness.com’s front page carosel for one week, AND receive one $50 Jamba Juice gift card provided by Jamba Juice.
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, and the District of Columbia, who are 18 and older.
- Contest ends Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 @ 8:00 PM EST.
- One winner will be selected on merit.
- Jamba Jucie gift card will be shipped within 14 business days of receiving the winner’s mailing address.
- Entrants must leave a valid email address.
- You may enter more than once.
- Fitzness International LLC will credit submissions by name, to those who have written the article.
- Persons submitting articles will not be compensated their submissions whether they are published or not and will not have any claim to ownership. Submissions become the intellectual property of Fitzness International LLC and may be published and republished as Fitzness International LLC chooses.
- Submissions must not be plagiarized or stolen. Submissions must be original.
