Originialy used by the ancient Greeks, hula hooping has evolved into a total weight loss activity. There are weighted hoops available in a variety of weights and sizes so you can custom tailor your workouts. Not only can you burn tons of calories with this fun form of fitness, but you can also tone and tighten as it is very intensive on the lower half of your body.

Weighted hoops are surprisingly easier to get going than the traditional hoops of your childhood, and instruction can easily be found at Hoopnotica.com.  Practice eventually will make perfect like any other activity you try, and then you can proceed to being a master hula-hooper and burn tons of calories every day!
