A group of prestigious orthopedic and plastic surgeons from The Orthopedic Institute in Gainesville, Florida has traveled to Haiti to care for the victims of Haiti’s earthquake. They’ve been donating their expertise and time to save lives, and now they’ve also decided to throw in some major cash. These surgeons have pledged to donate $1 for every person who signs up to follow them on Twitter.

Not only is this an easy way for you to make a collaborative impact generating a large financial donation, but their tweets are gripping – bringing a wild view of what’s going on in those makeshift operating rooms. Here’s an actual tweet from their page “completed upper arm amputation on woman who had to be cut from rubble – she has been smiling the whole time she’s been here.” So don’t delay, follow these heroes in scrubs by clicking here and tell everyone you know to do so too. These donations and these doctors will save lives.
