“Stir the Pot” on a Swiss Ball for Svelte Abs

You’ve probably seen tons of people doing crunches on a swiss ball in the gym, but there’s a much better way to use this cool tool if awesome abs and a strong core are on your fitness “to do” list.

The exercise is called Stir the Pot, and it’s a superb way to challenge all parts of your abs and core musculature. Assume the plank position with your elbows on the Swiss ball and your feet on the ground, then rotate you arms in a circle like your stirring a pot.

The best part about this exercise is how easy it is to adjust the difficulty. The farther your arms are away from you body, the more challenging it will be. This allows you to start off slow and progress at your own pace without having to change exercises.
