“Scream 4” premiers tomorrow, April 15th, and is bound to scare the pants off of audiences everywhere. Conveniently, Emma Roberts, who stars in the film with Courtney Cox, David Arquette and Neve Campbell would look great without pants! I mean … she’s in great shape and takes part in a fun pole dancing workout to stay in shape. I bet that helped her shoot scenes while running like hell from that spooky masked killer! Nonetheless, here are a few excerpts from her interesting article featured in the April issue of Women’s Health magazine, on stands now.

Emma on filming “Scream 4”: “We did a lot of chase scenes in the move, and I’d get so freaked out.  Even though you know it’s not real, part of you still has this scary adrenaline rush.”

“Scream 4” director Wes Craven on Emma: “She knocked our socks off.  She is intelligent and was able to pull a real performance even from her audition which we did via Skype.  She has a great combination of an all-American look and tremendous gravitas and force. Most actors would sit around Twittering.  She reads serious book sand has a knowledge of several centuries’ worth of literature.”

Emma on Wes Craven: “Having Wes Craven to work with as a director was really amazing.  I mean, I really respect him and admire him so it was nice to get to work with him.”

When she found out she got the role of Jill Roberts in “Scream 4”: “I was just shocked and excited.  I

was most excited that Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette were coming back just because they’ve been doing these movies for so long, they must really believe in this one if they’re coming back for it.”

On a pole dancing work out: “I started taking classes with friends as a way to both work out and hang out.  You don’t realize how much upper-body strength you need! It’s also a good way to build confidence.”

On being healthy in Hollywood: “A lot of women feel like they have to eat healthy to be skinny, but [for me] it’s not about that.”
