With football season upon us, we should talk about tailgate food! While hamburgers and hot dogs are always around, it’s fun to provide meatless options to make sure that every person, no matter what their eating preferences require, can enjoy. Whether you’re tailgating at home or near the field, dips are an expected staple, and guacamole is always a fan favorite. If you’re like me, you’re always looking for new versions to try. Check out the #MeatlessMondayNight challenge and new recipes that call for Silk Unsweetened Soymilk to make dips even creamier than usual. It’s a quality alternative for friends dealing with various allergies. Silk provides lactose-free, dairy-free, plant-based products that still provide lots of flavor. It’s important to point out that not only does this plant-based product have lots of flavor, it still provides the nutrition and energy needed to support active lifestyles. Since many of Silk’s products are nut based, they are packed with protein, which is great!
To incorporate Silk into guacamole, just add the Silk Unsweetened Soymilk to the avocados once they have been mashed. Then garnish your guacamole as desired. The result is a creamier guacamole that tastes richer without being heavier! Your friends will beg you to make more!
