Mizuno Wave Rider 17 Running Sneaker

Mizuno Wave Rider 17 Running Sneaker

The following post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of Mizuno.

December 5th is the big day. Mizuno is releasing it’s newest wonder, the Wave Rider 17, and you’re going to want to take notice. I had the great fortune to receive a pair a few weeks ago and I’ve become a huge fan. This was my first go with Mizuno and I was really impressed. I’m a sneaker snob. I mean, a true-blue nose in the air sneaker snob. Why? I’ve brutalized my feet for decades by fighting barefoot (I was a kickboxer for 10 years), running daily since I was a teen and pounding on them on end in numerous other ways as a fitness professional. In a lesser shoe, I’m like the Princess and the Pea. I feel every awful thing in the road and become miserable, so only the best will do. Just to put it out there, many companies send me shoes. I only review the shoes I genuinely love.

Mizuno’s Wave Rider 17 is both light and sturdy, which I’m slightly confused by, but running in them felt smooth and supportive. In fact, they’ve allowed me to forget about my feet, which means they really did their job. They’re light enough for race training at 7.8 ounces, but perfect for every day running as well.  If you’ve been stuck in the “standard” brands, and you know what I’m referring to … I highly recommend you give the Wave Rider 17 a go.
