Thanks to Trop50 for sponsoring my writing about fabulous bloggers. This year Trop50 is granting 50 Fabulous Wishes. Click here to enter for a chance to win $1,000 to celebrate a friend with a refreshing attitude about looking and feeling fabulous!

I love the opportunity to share my fitness finds, advice, interviews and recipes with you. It makes me happy and I always hope that I can find something each day to enhance the way you live your life. I have a few other friends who always strive to do something cool with their words as well. Some make me laugh, some make me think about being a great Mommy and some get me fired up about fashion. I love reading all of their words though, and thought I’d share these five favorites with you!

  1. Jeez-O-Petes: As you can probably guess by the name of this blog, it’s not meant to be serious. In fact, it’s totally not serious and that’s why I’m a loyal fan. Written by my funky friend Kristen Seymour, I utilize this blog as a way to entertain myself as I wait in long lines, wait in doctor’s offices or wait for my Beans to come out of school. Kristen is half girlie-girl, half jock, half drunkard, half sarcastic snot, and half animal activist. I know those are a lot of halves, but Kristen would probably agree that she actually has ALL of those halves. Kristen likes to write about her workouts, lame experiences like finding pubes on the ceiling of her hotel bathroom, her dogs, her husband, her messiness and all sorts of other silly components of her life. It’s funny stuff and if you like to laugh … you’ll love Jeez-O-Petes.com.
  2. CancerSpot.org: Home of the most eloquent writer I know, Jacki Donaldson, makes surviving cancer and then turning it in to a positive part of her past look easy. She uses her words to comfort, inspire, share knowledge and tell how her experiences with sick breasts affected her, her husband and two boys. She’s taken endless amounts of other suffering women under her wing to offer friendship while undergoing treatment and is even there to help mourning families deal with their loss. Jacki became my personal training client while still undergoing chemo. She wanted to grow stronger, which she desperately needed to do, and she did. She’s one of my heroes and I’m pretty confident if you visit CancerSpot.org, she’ll end up being one of yours too.
  3. MorningMile.com: This site is about one critical thing – getting children physically fit. The Morning Mile is a before-school fitness program which gives children the chance to start each day in an active healthy way while enjoying friends, music and fun. Participating schools receive a guide book to this turn-key operation, which makes this successful fitness program easily implemented. They also receive a powerful stereo and an entire system of rewards. The Morning Mile is currently being used in Alachua County, Florida schools with resounding results. During the 2010-2011 school year alone, students from 15 county elementary and two preschools completed well over 50,000 miles. The MorningMile.com offers tons of compelling information, videos, photo galleries and testimonials from those who matter most in schools. If you love fitness, kids and are passionate about preventing childhood obesity … MorningMile.com may offer some magic for your favorite little ones. Fully-funded Morning Mile Starter Kits are available in many areas! Get your favorite school started today.
  4. MasterpieceWeddings.blogspot.com: Awesometastic! It’s not my word, it’s the word wedding coordinator Melissa DiStefano uses to describe her blog, her business … her life. She’s a happy girl who lives for the perfect wedding; that is … the perfect wedding for each individual couple. Her blog is full of wedding photos, giveaways, honeymoon ideas and other creative ways to make everyone’s dream wedding a reality. My wedding was long ago, but I really enjoy surfing through her work to see how fun it all has become. If you’re planning a wedding or are just a hopeless romantic … MasterpieceWeddings.blogspot.com will put a little love in your heart!
  5. WorkingCloset.wordpress.com: Susan Wagner is the official Goddess of looking super stylish, sophisticated and (wait for it) … comfortable! Yep! You read that right. This little lady knows all there is to know about putting together an outfit which screams sophistication while enduring the hurdles that go along with a busy life which may or many not require caring for five kids. She knows how to make both single ladies and working Moms look gorgeous on any budget and actually takes self-portraits on a regular basis to show how to do it. Whether you like to shop at Ann Taylor, The Gap, Target or Versace … Susan’s Working Closet can take your status as a fashionista (or lack there of) up a notch or two.

Don’t forget to enter the 50 Fabulous Wishes contest for a chance to win $1,000 to celebrate a friend with a refreshing attitude about looking and feeling fabulous. I was selected for this Tropicana Trop50 sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do. I received compensation to use and facilitate my post.
