It’s no surprise that carrying around a bunch of extra weight can cause pain, and it’s also not shocking that losing weight can help reduce pain. Think about it, if I filled a backpack with text books and forced you to carry it around every second of every day for all of your days … it would eventually become a problem. Think your knees would start to creak? They sure would. Think your neck would hurt? Absolutely. Think your back would end up with agonizing pain? Hell yes! Extra weight on your body is just that – extra weight. Whether it comes in the form of text books or a big round belly, it’s still extra weight! You’d be shocked to discover how much of your daily aches are a result of this burden. Sore and sleepless? Yeah … that can be attributed to the extra weight too.

As my carpet cleaner, John, was leaving the other day he told  me about his 25 pound weight loss. Instead of being focused on his smaller waistline, he bragged about his new lack of pain. He confessed that each day, on the way home from doing the physical work of cleaning carpets his back would freeze up causing tremendous pain. All of that has since stopped. I’m so proud of him. Use the Exact Formula for Weight Loss to find out how to easily lose weight without gimmicks, diets, pills, supplements or shakes … and keep it off!

The benefits of being fit are tremendous, but if they haven’t been enough to entice you to lose the weight … maybe the idea of finally living pain-free will. Think about losing weight as losing pain instead. If you worry you can’t exercise because your pain is already out of control, start by focusing on wise eating habits first. Gradually include gentle exercises like walking, swimming, cycling and stretching.  You can do this! When faced with the option of living with aches and pains due to being overweight, it doesn’t seem like an option at all now does it?
