St. Patrick’s Day is a day to celebrate all things stereotypically Irish (like Fitz – and Fitzness), and of course that means alcohol, most notably beer and whiskey. Keep in mind that we will never encourage you to drink alcohol as drinking is the easiest way to gain weight, along with a slew of other negative side effects. But we also understand that people are bound to celebrate the holiday with a drink or two (or more). In case you were wondering, here’s some numbers on the drinks Leprechaun Lovers most frequently enjoy on March 17th.

Jameson Irish Whiskey (1oz)– 69 Calories

Guinness Stout (16oz)– 168 Calories, 13g carbs

Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale (16oz) – 163 Calories, 13g Carbs

Bailey’s Irish Cream (1.3oz)- 94 Calories, 5.8g Fat, 136mg Cholesterol (45%DV), 7.4g Carbs, 7.4 Sugar

Magners Original Irish Cider (Bulmers)(11.2oz)– 125 Calories, 11g Carbs

Water colored with a hint of green dye (any size)- 0 calories

Diet 7up colored with a hint of green dye (any size)– 0 calories

Alcoholic calories and carbohydrates can add up fast, which can easily have an unsightly effect on your abs. Set limitations and keep tabs on what you’re drinking; it will help your body and ensure your day remains fun but safe.
