AcuMat by StyleWellness.com

The StyleWellness AcuMat, also known as the “Spike Mat”, is a modern day “bed of nails” which was designed to release, relax and rejuvenate the user. Got that? OK, then get this. This soft, portable mat covered in hundreds of little plastic spikes has allowed me to fall asleep about 2 hours earlier than normal for the past month! It’s strange I know, but lying flat back on this thing in bed at night has completely relaxed my brain and body enough to make me to miss all my favorite shows. It’s also made my back feel quite a bit better as a result. Would you like to win won? Of course you do!

The AcuMat was designed to produce the following benefits: decreased muscular tension, reduced pain, stress relief,  relaxation and more. To me … it worked. I haven’t done a full-blown study on the mat, but it definitely has helped me relax and sleep for sure. If you’d like to win your very own AcuMat, leave a comment in the comment section telling us what type of stress in your life you’d like the Acumat to help you get rid of!

The StyleWellness AcuMat  is priced at $39.

I would like the Acumat to help me get rid of DAILY work stress. I am constantly going, going, going that I don’t have time to relax and enjoy the day. Which leads to stress at the end of the day. I love my job, but sometimes it really stresses me out!

  • Kristen says:

I don’t know that I can specify a single type of stress — it all builds up together. Not enough time at work, not enough time with the family, I never seem to get my to-do list completed.

  • Ann Ball says:

Kid stress, work stress, finding time to workout stress! How about “kid crawls into bed with you and they squirm all night and you can’t sleep” stress? Maybe I should get one for the kid 😉 I wouldn’t mind missing a few TV shows to get more sleep either. I hope AcuMat can fix all of that!

I would like the Acumat to help me get rid of stress.

  • I hope to relieve my back pain and sleep better. My current stress is not being able to exercise due to back issues and not being able to go on rollercoasters with my son.

As an acupuncturist, I understand the health benefits of acupressure. It isn’t easy finding products that I can recommend to patients and friends. My philosophy has always been to try something myself first before recommending my patients to try it. It sounds fantastic.

  • K Shey says:

Any assistance in alleviating back and body pain would be welcome!

  • Diona Mata says:

Between working full-time as an ICU nurse and raising 4 kids ages 3-12, sleep is something I do not take lightly! Unfortunately, it seems all of the abuse my body has taken over the years has made it difficult to get a food night’s sleep.
It seems as if I can never get comfortable and spend most if the night tossing and turning, trying to find a position that “works”.
I’m not a person who likes to take medications, so a natural, drug-free way to help ease some of the discomfort and sleep more peacefully would be a blessing!

  • Tere says:

My husband tosses and turns all night and cant get comfortable, maybe something like this would help him. 🙂

  • Cathi says:

Working at a computer all days causes tension in my back and shoulders. I’d love to try one of these to ease the tension and pain.

  • Tammi says:

I have scoliosis and am recovering from a car accident from which as a result I have 10 herniated discs (1 torn) as well as suffer from severe muscle spams, nerve problems and a tear in my shoulder. I have attempted to return to work part time and work from home now. Most of my work time is spent @ the computer so this puts a lot of strain on my back. I used to be very active and am hoping to return to a somewhat normal lifestyle but right now everyday tasks and activities are a struggle. Battling with the insurance companies to pay for treatment impairs my road to recovery but I keep pushing forward. I am hoping to achieve my long term goals of a no kill animal rescue and education center but have to get my body well first. Anything that can give me relief and help me to rest and sleep thru the night would be amazing and so appreciated. Thank you in advance!!!
