October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I’m sick to share Giuliana Rancic’s announcement today on NBC’s Today Show that she has breast cancer. I worked with Giuliana this August – click here to see video our interview – and I genuinely liked her. So sad that this lovely lady who’s been dealing with infertility for several years is now going to have to fight for her life. Fortunately, her cancer was caught early, because one of her IVF doctor’s was adamant that she get a mammogram before she got pregnant. Apparently, pregnancy can accelerate the growth of breast cancer. She’ll have surgery this week followed by six and a half weeks of radiation.
