Instead of viewing food as a source of fun, start viewing as it is: fuel. You wouldn’t take a long car trip with your gas tank on empty and fill up once you arrived at your destination would you? No! That’d be silly and leave you stranded. Consume your largest meal in the morning and decrease the size of each meal throughout the day. Food is fuel and fuel is energy. Your body needs lots of fuel to get you through your busy day, but it doesn’t need a whole heck of a lot sleep. Be sure to fuel up at the beginning of each day so you have the stamina to function at your highest level and meet each challenge with gusto! Changing the purpose of your food consumption will help you choose whether or not you’re in need of fuel, and if those extra calories are in your best interest. If that’s not enough information, chew on this: Studies show those who eat breakfast lose weight more easily and more likely to maintain an ideal weight.
