As a guy, I can comfortably say that too many of us skip the strength training for our legs.. Not a good idea. Leg day is just as important as chest, arms, or back, and here’s a few reasons why. Something you can think about the next time you think about skipping leg day.
Chicks Dig Big Calves
- Okay, maybe not every girl digs it, but certainly the majority find it sexy. It may even be the most underrated body part. It only take a few minutes to do some calf raises. Just because having strong biceps or six-pack abs are a hot topic like doesn’t mean you should overlook your calves.
Proportionate Body
- Most guys prioritize upper body training, but isn’t it just weird to have one complete half of your body super fit, and the other half super slack? Having a disproportionate body is not ideal for anyone.
Reduce Risks of Injury
- Leg strength is extremely important to your health. Having a weak lower half, can lead to having a greater chance of sprains, strains, falls, breaks and other injuries. Your lower body is the part that carries you around all day. Whether you are walking, running, cycling, skating or do almost any other activity – a strong lower body is never a bad thing.
Less Lower Back Pain
- Having weak glutes and hamstrings can directly relate to you having back problems. These back problems can be debilitating to the point where you struggle to get up off the couch. You must strengthen these parts of your body if you are going to get rid of that nagging, but also potentially serious back problem.
Chicken Legs is Not a Good Look
