What inspired you to become a Fitzness Ambassador?
Because of all the fitness, health, and lifestyle coaching I’ve gotten from Fitz without asking for absolutely any payment.

How did you first discover Fitzness, and what has been your journey so far?
I heard Fitz on the Mickey Milers podcast in 2016 and went to a Mickey Milers meetup at the Boardwalk Bakery at the Disney Marathon. At that time, I was 90+ pounds overweight and running regularly. I knew I wanted to commit to losing weight, and the Exact Formula and Fitz’s guidance resonated.

It’s a lifestyle change and a lifetime commitment. I don’t ever want to go back to the unhealthy person I was before.
Have you used the Exact Formula for Weight Loss?
Have you used the Exact Formula for Weight Loss?
I’ve tried dozens of diets and ways to lose weight, and tracking calories and using the Exact Formula is the only thing that’s worked for me long-term. I’ve lost 90+ pounds and kept it off for several years, and I still track my food intake daily, even after seven or more years of success.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone starting their fitness journey?
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone starting their fitness journey?
The saying “you lose weight in the kitchen” is only partially getting to what you truly need to succeed with fitness and health. Your weight loss journey starts with your mindset. Only you can choose healthy foods over convenience or junk, and only you can control your portions. Only you can stick to a weight loss plan when the going gets tough and stay with it when you’re frustrated and not seeing results. The weight loss journey is not linear – when you eat a certain number of calories on day one, you will not see an immediate loss in your weight on day two. It might not make sense, but it’s simple. You will win in your mind, not in the kitchen.

How do you plan to inspire others in the Fitzness community?
In April of 2024, at 52 years of age, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. There is no cure for Parkinson’s, and many of the medications and procedures that are currently available simply control some of the symptoms. Fortunately, Parkinson’s is not a death sentence, and the one thing that every medical professional and person with Parkinson’s consistently says will combat the disease is regular, intense exercise. Fortunately, Fitz has taught me to do this already, and I gladly take my prescription of daily exercise seriously. I want to show others that, through what Fitz teaches, you can have a healthy lifestyle and life, no matter your setbacks.
