1. Adam Levine, 34 – This American singer/songwriter is most commonly known as the lead vocalist of the insanely popular pop rock band, Maroon 5. In the year of 2013, Levine was named Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. There’s just something about this star that drives girls crazy. Maybe it’s the tattoos or maybe it’s the strong arms; nevertheless, Levine is now engaged to  Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo.

2. Kellan Lutz, 28 – Many people became familiar with Lutz through the Twilight series in which he played the role of Emmett Cullen, the sexy vampire. In 2013, he was also chosen for the role of Hercules in the upcoming movie, The Legend of Hercules. In order to play the part in Twilight, Lutz gained 25 pounds of pure muscle. During an interview with Men’s Health Magazine, Lutz said he maintains his body by performing a full-body circuit workout and following a low-carb, gluten-free diet.

3. Liam Hemsworth, 23 – This Australian actor is best known for his role in the Hunger Games series. He is also famous for his role in The Last Song, playing opposite Miley Cyrus, whom he eventually became engaged to. They broke up this year. Hemsworth loves working out but not in the conventional way. He would much rather box or surf than spend an hour on a treadmill. At 6’3”, he requires lots of food, but this has never been a problem. He loves eating all kinds of foods, but tries to keep his diet as simple as possible.

4. Ryan Gosling, 33 – This Canadian heartthrob is a renowned writer, musician and movie star. He is adored in every part he plays including The Notebook, Crazy Stupid Love, and Gangster Squad. Gosling follows a pretty strict workout routine which includes two hours of exercise six days a week. He is naturally slim so it took him lots of strength training to build up to where he is today. He believes that a Thai diet including fish, rice and greens is the healthiest way to go.

5. Drake, 27 – Rapper, songwriter and actor, he does it all. He has sold over five million albums worldwide and he has even won a Grammy. For his tour in 2013, Drake worked hard to build and tone his body. His workout progress was made public through his instagram, where he documented his improvements. Lots of weightlifting was involved in the process.

6. Joe Manganiello37 – On top of his role as a werewolf in the series True Blood, Manganiello is also known to many as an author, director and producer. He follows a strict high-protein diet and works out rigorously twice a day, six days a week. At 6-foot-5, Manganiello weighs 220 pounds of lean muscle.

7. Ryan Reynolds, 37 – Reynolds has starred in dozens of films including Serving in Silence, Safe House, The Proposal, Just Friends, and Adventureland. According to Mensfitness.com, Reynolds wasn’t always in such good shape. He says he used to eat whatever he wanted without working out until he got on a strict routine of eating healthy and exercising daily. In just three months time, he gained 25 pounds of pure muscle.

8. Leonardo DiCaprio39 – Nominated for three Academy Awards and nine Golden Globe Awards, Leo has definitely created a name for himself. In 2013, he was chosen to play the role of Gatsby in the classic story of The Great Gatsby, and he was also chosen to play the lead role in The Wolf of Wall Street. DiCaprio is known to put everything into acting, including his body. He is willing to change his body to fit the role he is playing, whether it means gaining or losing weight, but he always stays fit. He is now working hard to tone and strengthen his body for the upcoming year.

9. Bradley Cooper39His fame skyrocketed when he played in the comedy, The Hangover. During an interview with Men’s Health, Cooper gave some nutrition and exercise tips: drink protein shakes (but choose wisely), don’t cheat on your diet, don’t space out during your workouts, and drink plenty of water. Whatever he’s doing seems to be working!

10. Ryan Kwantan37 – True Blood’s star, Ryan Kwantan is as fit as they get. This Australian actor did not get this body in a gym. He started boxing as a teenager which got him hooked on being active. He now surfs, runs, hikes, swims and bikes. He believes that muscle confusion is key and he’d much rather work up a sweat outside than in. Unlike many male celebrities, Kwantan is a yogi. When he first started practicing yoga, he saw people putting their legs above their heads and he decided he would learn to do it to. He is now an extremely flexible Vinyasa yoga teacher.
