This week, I’ll be in San Diego for the BlogHer Conference joining my partner in crime, Tropicana, to once again, convince the world to eat more fruits and veggies … one Fruit and Veg Pledge at a time. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet thousands of other women who use the internet to make their mark on the world, while joining forces with corporate partners who are eager to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle to whomever will listen.
In fact, some of my big duties will be to do yoga with Quaker spokesperson, Bob Harper of “The Biggest Loser”, and run the Gatorade 5K with Sarah Robb O’Hagan, Gatorade President North America and Global CMO Sports Nutrition. Being that my personal version of celebrities are powerful business leaders … I’m pretty stoked about this. I’m also dying to spend some time with Indra K. Nooyi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo. Yes, SHE runs the world’s largest portfolio of billion-dollar food and beverage brands, including 19 different product lines that each generate more than $1 billion in annual retail sales. I’m dying to pick the brains of these two rock star leaders. Do I sound like a nerdy groupie? Guilty. As. Charged.
The absolutely adorable Trop50 spokesperson, Giuliana Rancic of E! News and “Fashion Police” and I will sit down for a short interview at some point, so please let me know if you have any questions for her. Fitness, fashion, whatever, she’s usually pretty open to talk about anything and everything it seems. If you have questions for Bob, Sarah or Indra too, send them to me immediately! Most importantly, I hope to learn something. It is an educational conference, right? It’s hard to keep that at the top of my head though, when all I hear about are the CleverGirls parties, Sparkle Party and on and on. I’m really excited to learn though, and run, and do yoga, and party, and ….
