Mother’s Day is almost here and I’d like to offer a bit of advice for those of you who’d love to get through the day without the stress of having to deal with pounds of sweets and junk food. Notify your family ahead of time that you’d rather not have it! Remember, this is your day and your children and men really want to make you happy. It’s OK to sweetly state in advance that you’re focused on your fitness and figure and you’re hoping not to have to have that fierce fight with temptation. A nice healthy lunch or dinner out is great, and with that … you can order whatever you want! But when a box of chocolates or a basket of muffins arrive in your house, a struggle is sure to ensue. So with just a few days left, your mission is simple. Decide what you want and make it clear to those that love you. You can also drop this hint with the article I published last week, What are the Odd your Mom wants Chocolate for Mother’s Day. Send it in an email or share it on Facebook – they’ll know what you mean.  I wish all of you a happy and healthy Mother’s Day!
