This Thursday, Oct 4 the Emmy®-winning daytime series, The Doctors, rolls out the red carpet for “Celebrity Health & Beauty Secrets” (check local listings). Joined by singer/songwriter Paula Abdul, actress Denise Richards, “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Chris O’Donnell, and Academy Award® winner, Marlee Matlin, the co-hosts of The Doctors ask each celeb to go on record with their personal health and beauty secrets.
Pop icon Paula Abdul reveals how she stays fit and pays even more attention to her health now that she has just crossed the half-century mark at age 50. Paula tells viewers she stays fit using the “GyroKenesis” exercise machine, which helps her stretch and provides therapeutic relief for old dance injuries. The past Idol and X-Factor judge also starts the day with a Calcium Cocktail to stave off osteoporosis (recipe revealed on the show!).
Golden Globe nominee Chris O’Donnell shares how he and his wife of 14 years braved the “back-to-school” vaccination process with their five children this past September and also chats about the season four premiere of NCIS: Los Angeles and doing his own stunts on-set. The co-hosts of The Doctors show the audience just how easy getting the flu shot can be by each getting the shot live on TV with the new Fluzone Intradermal vaccine needle.
