AKA Barbara DiGirolamo
What inspired you to become a Fitzness Ambassador?
Fitz has had a huge impact on my fitness and inspired my nutrition journey, and the Hotties have been a huge support in all things racing, training, and weight loss. I am looking forward to being able to give back to others and inspire them to live better lives.
How did you first discover Fitzness, and what has been your journey so far?
I discovered Fitzness after meeting Fitz at the 26.2 With DONNA in February 2022. Since then, I have met so many other Fitzness advocates and Hotties across the US, run more races than I have ever done, and changed how I feed and care for my body.
What are your favorite forms of exercise?
Running, spinning, and weight training.
How do you stay motivated in your fitness journey?
Working out with others! It’s hard to say no to a workout when someone is waiting for you, and seeing their successes inspires me to give more of myself.
Have you used the Exact Formula for Weight Loss?
I have off and on. When I do, I feel so much healthier, can perform better in workouts and turn out better times in races because I am less fatigued!
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone starting their fitness journey?
Put on your shoes, get out the door, and take the first steps. Give yourself 15 minutes, and I can guarantee you won’t turn around. If you do, you’ve got 30 minutes of movement!
What are your personal fitness goals for the next year?
I am training for the Every Women’s Marathon in Savannah, GA, this November. My long-term goal is to run a race in every state, and I am up to 31!
How do you plan to inspire others in the Fitzness community?
I plan to be more engaging in the Hottie group. Having support is half the fitness battle, and sharing ideas with each other makes us stronger!
Favorite healthy food:
Cobb salad
Favorite unhealthy food:
Pizza
Favorite song to workout to:
“Girl on Fire” -Alicia Keys
What fitness accomplishment are you most proud of?
Finishing a marathon one month after being cleared from a hip labrum tear.

I was blessed to meet Babz through the Donna National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer in 2022, which was three months AFTER she put a medal around my neck at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. She's one of the most altruistic humans on earth, committed to helping so many causes, and committed to herself as she travels across America running races. Love her! Wǒ ài nǐ❤️🎤 Fitz
