Jonah Hill struck gold in his first lead role in the comedy hit, “Super Bad”. He was portrayed as the unpopular out of shape high school senior looking to go out with a “Bang.” Throughout the movie, various lines poke fun at Hill’s weight and lack of fitness. While stardom had finally come for Jonah, his weight was spiraling out of control which was quite vivid as he sported unflatteringly tight suits in “Get Him to the Greek.”
Things have changed dramatically though, for the 27-year-old actor. Jonah set out to lose 30 pounds for his upcoming movie “21 Jump Street;” while strutting his much trimmer, fitter stuff at the ESPY’s, Hill looked like totally different person who probably lost way more than the mentioned 30 pounds. While many critics have been quick to jump to conclusions suggesting he’d had surgery, it’s more likely that Hill lost the weight the healthy way. A friend of Jonah spoke with US weekly stating Hill hired a personal trainer after various failed attempts to lose weight on his own. The unidentified friend stated that at first Jonah gained weight when he started exercising (hence the reason for hiring a trainer to help with dieting and exercise).
Hill’s success story should serve as a great motivational tool for everyone striving to be healthier. Through hard work and proper nutrition, there’s no reason a person should not be able to reach their ideal body weight. In fact, if you’re someone who feels your weight has spiraled out of control like Jonah’s had … be prepared to see results quickly. Those who start with horrific eating and drinking habits see almost immediate results once committing to eating wisely and exercising regularly. I never thought I’d say this, but Jonah Hill is a great role model for how swiftly healthy habits can change your life.
