Prep time: 10-15 minutes
Cook time: 15-20 minutes
Cook temperature: 365* F
Serving Size: 2-3 people
How to:
Step 1: Get out your cutting board, rolling pin and pizza dough. Roll out your dough to make it as flat as possible; the less dough you use the better! Try to make the crust as thin as possible. The thinner the crust, the healthier the pizza and shorter the cook time.
We recommend making your pizza the day you get the whole wheat pizza dough; if you refrigerate your dough it will take time for it to expand in order for ingredients to be added. If you do wait a few days, take your pizza dough out of the refrigerator to allow time to thaw.
Step 2: Prepare your cookie sheet with aluminum foil, if necessary. Spray your pan or foil with non-stick spray and place your rolled out pizza dough on the sheet.
Step 3: Pre-heat the oven to 365* F.
Step 4: Chop up all of your ingredients- tomato, some red and green pepper, a mushroom, half an onion, the green onion and parsley.
Step 5: Spread pasta sauce over the dough evenly. Apply however much pasta sauce you prefer.
Step 6: Lay all chopped ingredients on your pizza however you prefer, except for the green onion and parsley.
Step 7: Add a light amount of shredded cheese- enough to lightly cover the previous ingredients- and add the green onion and parsley on top.
Step 8: Place in the oven for 10 minutes. Add time depending on the thickness of the dough. The thinner the dough the less the cook time.
Your pizza will be ready when the dough is a golden brown and harder to the touch. Let sit until it cools, then cut and share! Bon appetit, friends.
