Tyrese Gibson, who stars in the movies “Transformers” and “Fast Five”, has to keep fit to play such active roles. His character in the three “Transformers” movies is U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Robert Epps. One can only imagine that playing a role like this one requires him to be super fit. In a recent interview, Tyrese says that if he is always ready to play a role physically, he doesn’t have to work extra hard to prepare for it. Gibson’s muscular body is enviable, but it doesn’t come easy. The 32-year-old star compliments his great genes with a regular exercise routine.

Tyrese on staying in shape for movies: “There’s a saying, that if you stay ready, you ain’t got to get ready. I like to run at least five miles a day. You know, abs, bench chest, and arms. I do what they call a ‘vanity workout.’ It’s like you just want to look good, you want to feel like a star, but it’s not as technical as a full on bodybuilder.”

Tyrese admits that following a well-balanced diet is not at all easy, but it is very important as far as being fit goes. He says eating well is a challenge: “My biggest challenge is eating clean.” His diet includes eating lean meals such as baked chicken, fish and salads. Tyrese is human as he admits his love for sweets, “I love chocolate turtles. They’re my favorite. I also love Kit Kats and Snickers. Here and there I’ll slip up and grab me one or two.. or seven.”

Staying healthy is a challenge for everybody including celebrities we idolize. People like Tyrese show that they are still regular people when it comes to their body and staying in shape. Most celebrities work just as hard as everyone else when it comes to exercising and eating right. Though it may not be as easy as celebrities make it look, everyone can have a celebrity body.
