Everyone has a different fashion style that fits their personality and helps express their unique taste. While we love sharing the latest fitness/sporty styles for the athletic-dressing fan, we can’t leave out the true fashionistas that also visit the Fitzness page. The bohemian chic look has been a popular style for the past few years, with outfits and apparel that are loose fitting, flowy, and have an eclectic, hippie feel.
But you don’t have to be full on boho chic to rock the look below! This innovative idea of using a scarf as a head wrap definitely falls under this particular style category, and will look great on almost anyone. Follow the step-by-step directions below, and you will not only boast fashion sense, but you’ll also have a functional headband that keeps your hair up and out of the way!
First you will need a scarf. Choose a scarf that’s lightweight and not too long. A scarf that is designed for the winter weather is not the type of scarf you want to make your head wrap out of. A light, neck scarf is the perfect choice fort this head wrap.
Fold your scarf equally in half, holding the side with the fold in one hand and the side with the two loose ends in the other hand.
Next, place the middle section of the folded scarf around the back of your head. Keep the ends in separate hands, holding each end out in front of your head.
Join the ends together in the front part of your head by looping just one of the lose ends through the folded end. Leave the other lose end out of the fold.
Now tie the two loose ends together tightly in order to keep the headband in place. However, don’t tie it so tight that the head wrap is uncomfortable.
Take the two lose ends and securely tuck them in the back/sides of the head wrap, so they aren’t visible.
Now you have a boho chic look that will impress your fashionista friends and keep your hair in check. This head wrap can jazz up an outfit and give you a distinctive and desirable look.
