Gold Medalists Dominique Dawes (gymnastics) and Rowdy Gaines (swimming) talk London 2012 Olympic Games and Fitness with Fitz. Who are they rooting for? How do they stay fit? What type of advice do they have for you?

Dominique Dawes is a  three-time Olympian, and a member of the gold-medal winning “Magnificent Seven.” The “Magnificent Seven” was the name given to the 1996 United States Olympic Women’s Gymnastics Team that won the first ever Gold Medal for the United States in the Women’s Team Competition in Atlanta.

Rowdy Gaines, 52, is a father of four and 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist, U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame member, and International Swimming Hall of Fame member. After graduating from high school, Gaines was offered a scholarship to swim for Auburn University. His years at Auburn were some of the most amazing of his life; he became an all American, an NCAA champion and he was World Swimmer of the Year twice. It was at Auburn that he became the fastest human being in the water, and heavily favored to medal multiple times in Moscow in 1980. Unfortunately, Gaines wasn’t given a chance to compete in 1980 due to political protest.
