If you didn’t already know, I work very closely with Tropicana and am a proud TropiMomma (brand ambassador). For quite a few years, Tropicana has chosen to purchase oranges from areas outside of Florida because as amazing as Mother Nature is, she can also be mean and completely wipe out regional crops. In order to ensure Tropicana Pure Premium production, shopping for at least some oranges outside of the Sunshine State seemed like a smart move. You know? They didn’t want to put all of their eggs err, oranges, in one basket. Fortunately though, they’ve found a way to make it work and Tropicana Pure Premium is back to being freshly squeezed straight from Florida – and only Florida – orange groves! This is not only great news because Florida oranges taste the best (my personal opinion), but it’s incredible for both the Florida and US economy. As a native Florida orange myself, I’m so proud of this this state, these private business owning growers and the history of Tropicana which makes a magnificent product. It’s cause to celebrate and Tropciana Pure Premium wants to celebrate with you, by sending one lucky family to Florida, complete with a trip to an orange grove!
New Facebook campaign, sweepstakes bring Florida groves to families, and vice versa
Visit Tropicana’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/Tropicana to get an up close and personal look at some of the Florida groves where many of Tropicana Pure Premium’s oranges come from, with photos, stories, grower profiles and fun grove facts.
From March 19 through April 20, 2012, fans can visit Tropicana’s Facebook page to enter to win one of 100 prizes. Prizes include:
- 99 one-year supplies of orange juice in the form of twelve (12) 59oz Tropicana Pure Premium containers
- One trip to a Florida orange grove for a grand-prize winner and three (3) guests, which includes:
- Round-trip airfare for four (4) to Florida
- Three (3) night stay at a hotel in Sarasota
- Behind-the-scenes experience at one of the Florida orange groves with the opportunity to meet growers, tour groves and discover the origins of their favorite OJ
