In order to gain control of your dining experience and waistline, take the initiative to ask the wait staff to box up half of your meal in a to-go box before your meal is even served. This way, you won’t even be tempted to eat more than half a portion in one sitting. According to research, it’s often tough to even find menu items that are 1,000 calories or less. Boxing up half of your meal is guaranteed to save you hundreds of calories immediately.
