If you’re prone to excuses and have found every reason in the world to miss out on fitness, life or greatness in general – we now bring you official motivation to slam into reverse, get your fanny up and get moving. While chatting with hundreds of participants during this past weekend’s runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, I stumbled across a gem. Mike and his five grown children are the perfect examples of what runDisney is all about. This 84 year-old decided that he wanted to do a 5K road race and wanted to do it right. So he and his family left the icy streets of Pittsburgh to fly to sunny Orlando, Florida and run the Royal Family 5K at EPCOT Center in Walt Disney World. These videos were shot post-race, and you’ll love the utter excitement oozing from this fab family. The video on top features just Mike. The video below features Mike and his whole family. We love them all! Whatever your perceived obstacle may be: age, weight, lack of fitness, disability – you’ll be surprised by what you can achieve if you’re just willing to make a plan and try.
