A skincare routine does not have to include 10 steps, despite what some may suggest. The key is finding the right products that work best for your skin type and sticking to a simple yet effective regimen. Short and sweet will work wonders, leaving you glowing and radiant, as long as you stay consistent. Cleansing and moisturizing your face daily will prove far more valuable than occasionally using a bunch of fancy products.

It may take some time to discover the brands and ingredients that suit your skin best, but don’t worry, skincare is a journey, not a race. The goal is to nourish and protect your skin while keeping your routine manageable and sustainable. By focusing on consistency and quality over quantity, you’ll achieve a healthy, glowing complexion without feeling overwhelmed.

Here is a simple guide to follow on your journey to radiant, beautiful skin.

  1. Get Cozy & Comfortable.

Throw on those fluffy slippers and that favorite PJ set! Play some tunes and light a well scented candle of your choosing to get in the self-care mood.  Have fun with it, but most importantly get cozy and get comfortable!

2.  Cleanser. Remove any excess dirt or makeup from your pores.  Coconut oil is a natural and effective product for removing makeup. Cleansing toilettes work just as good and are easy to use if you are in a rush.

3. Toner. Toner is used to remove any remaining dirt that may still be lingering in your pores.  It acts as a gentle daily exfoliant and really clears out your skin.  Use a cotton ball or cotton round to soak the toner with and wipe your face using small outward strokes.

4. Moisturizer.  All skin types are different and different formulas work for different people.  It is all about finding the right balance.  A light oil-free moisturizer is a great way to start! It is not too heavy on the skin and won’t cause any break outs.
