Athlete

Fitz is a Boston Marathon finisher, an obstacle course race junkie, loves all water sports (surfing, skiing, paddleboarding, wakeboarding) and has appeared on ESPN several times as a result of her prestige as a competitive full-contact kickboxer. She’s a gamer who’s up for almost any and all athletic adventures.

Clinician

Fitz is a prominent speaker on sport performance who has upped the game of amateur and professional athletes across the world. Her passion for the subject is pretty intense, as proper strength training, stretching, balance traing and cross-training workouts can reduce athlete pain and punishment significantly while enhancing performance and overall enjoyment of the sport, especially within the running community. Fitz loves that fun runs, OCRs and endurance races inspire so many people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels to participate. The challenge is that many runners only run, therefore race participants are often not well-prepared athletes. Fitz’s job is to make sure everyone is properly educated and prepared so they can have a quality experience without pain or injury. Her expertise in sports conditioning doesn’t stop there. She’s trained everyone between youth and pro athletes at the University of Florida, Detroit GM Headquarters, ESPN Wide World of Sports and more.

She was instantly tossed into 15 months of chemotherapy, 33 rounds of radiation and several surgeries. Despite being deathly ill, Fitz continued touring the country as a race announcer, making the best of a bad situation. Her tale of triumph which includes a million twists and turns, can be read in her memoir: My Noisy Cancer Comeback: Running at the Mouth, While Running for My Life. Released in October of 2018.
